The basis behind any off line promotion campaign for your website is of course to get your website more hits and this way generate more sales. Another reason is that most people spend a large amount of time away from their computers and we need to find ways to reach them. Here are a few tips to promote your website off line to those potential customers.
1. Create a fridge magnet that you can hand to all your customers with your website address on it. This will generate talk about your business when guests congregate in the kitchen.
2. Place your web address on all your stationary: letterheads, business cards, brochures, envelopes, invoices, checks, fax cover sheets, even on your post its.
3. Create and distribute an e-newsletter. Obtain as many email addresses as possible from clients, suppliers, friends and family. Send out a monthly email letter on your business – include updates, changes to your business, even include personal details about yourself.
